School Prayers
At St Peter's we have two prayers which many children choose to memorise. Prayer is always invitational - we do not make children pray or request that they pray in a certain way.
Grace is said before lunch as a message of thanks. The school prayer is used throughout the day, often in assemblies and sometimes at the end of the day. The School Prayer was written in 2021 by a Pupil Prayer Committee. There were numerous drafts which the committee presented to children to hear their opinions, before settling on the final version.
