Reception

Welcome to Reception

The teaching team this year is Mrs Atwal, Mrs Salter, Mrs Saleem and Miss Donovan (Wednesday and Friday afternoon)

 

Here are a selection of the books which we will explore during Literacy and topic this half term.  

 

We will learn many poems including All About Me, Five Little Pumpkins, Leaves are Falling and Tommy Thumb from the Poetry basket.  Reciting poetry can ignite a love of language and has the power to enhance vocabulary as well shaping the pathways crucial in the process of learning to read.
