Welcome to Reception

The teaching team this year is Mrs Atwal, Mrs Salter and Mrs McKee.

 

Here are a selection of the books which we will explore during Literacy and topic this half term.  

 

We will learn many poems including I Have a  Little Frog , Five Little Peas, A Little Shell, Pitter Patter, If I Was  So Very Small and Under a Stone from the Poetry basket.  Reciting poetry can ignite a love of language and has the power to enhance vocabulary as well shaping the pathways crucial in the process of learning to read.
