Rainbow Fish

Welcome to Rainbow Fish nursery!

Our children are taught by Mrs King, Ms Waters and Mrs Salim.

Dear Parents/Carers,

When your child turns three, they will be able to transfer to Rainbow Fish Nursery, where we welcome children until they reach school age.

At Rainbow Fish, we offer a flexible range of funded and extended sessions to support families and help you make the most of both the 15‑hour universal entitlement and the 30‑hour extended entitlement.

Funded Session Options

Morning session (15 hours universal entitlement): 8:45am – 11:45am

Afternoon session (15 hours universal entitlement): 12:30pm – 3:30pm

Full day (30 hours extended entitlement, includes lunchtime): 9:00am – 3:00pm

Optional Paid Extensions

For families who require a little extra flexibility, we offer the following additional sessions:

Extended morning for 30‑hour children: 8:30am – 9:00am Optional and charged at £3.30 per session.

Extended afternoon for 30‑hour children: 3:00pm – 3:30pm Optional and charged at £3.30 per session.

The Nursery is staffed by a fully qualified teacher and experienced teaching assistants. Alongside providing a broad, balanced and creative curriculum, the team ensures your child is well prepared for starting school.

As with Little Fishes, the Nursery has full access to the school’s facilities. Children enjoy a wide range of activities, including PE, cooking and special assemblies.

If you would like a place in either Nursery, please contact the school office to arrange a visit and collect an application form. You can reach the office on 01628 602295.

Best wishes,

Mrs King

Our main topic this term is 'Weather and Seasons'. Below are the core texts we will be exploring together in class, which are aligned with the NELI reading scheme.
