Welcome to Reception

Here are a selection of the books which we will explore  during Literacy and through the topics of People who Help Us and Christmas, this half term.  

 

We will learn many poems including A basket of apples, Cup of tea, Mice, Shoes and Who has seen the wind? from the Poetry basket.  Reciting poetry can ignite a love of language and has the power to enhance vocabulary as well shaping the pathways crucial in the process of learning to read.
