Welcome to Reception
The teaching team this year is Mrs Atwal, Mrs Salter and Mrs McKee.
Here are a selection of the books which we will explore during Literacy and through the topics of Space, this half term.
We will learn many poems including Climb aboard, Mr Moon, 5 Little astronauts, A trillion stars and Flying Saucer from the Poetry basket. Reciting poetry can ignite a love of language and has the power to enhance vocabulary as well shaping the pathways crucial in the process of learning to read.
